What is sublimation printing?

Colour that becomes part of the fabric.

Sublimation printing is a process where special inks are turned into gas under heat and pressure, and fused permanently into the fibres of the fabric. Unlike DTF or screen printing, sublimation doesn't sit on top of the garment — it becomes part of it.

This means the print can never peel, crack, or fade the same way surface prints can. The result is a vivid, full-colour, full-garment print that's as durable as the fabric itself. At Verohs Printers Johannesburg, we offer full all-over sublimation — edge to edge, seam to seam.

Important: Sublimation only works on 100% polyester garments or polyester-coated items. It does not work on cotton.

Never peels or cracks

Because the ink is fused into the fabric, not sitting on top, it cannot peel or crack. The print lasts as long as the garment does.

Photo-quality colour

Sublimation produces the most vivid, accurate colour reproduction of any garment printing method. Gradients, photos, and complex designs all come out perfectly.
